November is Native American History Month. 

2nd and 3rd graders designed and decorated pottery. 4th and 5th graders learned how to make dream catchers.

Fall Festivities!

2nd and 3rd graders drew an illuminated pumpkin patch.

4th and 5th graders constructed decahedron pumpkins.

4th and 5th grade, Art and Humanities classes created Huichol Yarn Paintings in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

 

Art on Display at International Night

 Ms. Jackson's Kindergarteners painted Paisleys, a traditional textile pattern from India.

 

Ms. Lewandowski's 1st grade class painted fans. In Korea, these colors and shapes symbolize the harmony between Heaven, Earth and Humanity.

Mr. Kelly's 3rd Graders created mixed media Cuckoo Clocks, inspired by the craftspeople of the Black Forest Region of Germany.

  

Mr. Yaeger's and Ms. Dildy's 4th and 5th graders simulated Islamic tile design, utilizing printmaking techniques.
